UFO in Ohio 1/28/2012 *HD available*

when I was in my room I saw this bright light, kinda like a super bright street light, but you could tell it was in the distance a little bit. I stared at it for about 5 minutes trying to figure out what it was before I went to the back door and grabbed the camera. When I started filming it, it had to have flown about 10+ miles away. This thing was not an airplane, not a helicopter, not a blimp. (if it was any of those, it wouldn't be visible for that long.)

What time did you take this video JDawg? I saw something very similar to this at 2am on Jan 28th in northern Wisconsin, from an island in Lake Superior. I could clearly spot with my naked eye what appeared to be a star changing colors. I looked through a set of binoculars at these vibrantly changing colors, and noticed that no other star next to it or anywhere else in the clear night sky looked similar in anyway. I woke up my dad and he also said he had never seen anything like it before.

Was it over the Great Lakes? Because around this time an unidentified object was seen over the lakes from the other side, Port Dover Ontario, Canada....

@btbamfav23 no, it wasn't over the Great Lakes. Lake Erie is about 20 miles north of where I live. This was headed west.

@The3PhoenixWithin Dude this wasn't a star. I think I know what a star looks like, & I don't think stars change colors. If it was a star, I would not have wasted my time filming it. Whatever it was, it was moving away from me slowly.

Um, ok guys. Now, this is wierd. We saw some eerly strange, much much closer on the SAME NIGHT in San Juan Puerto rico, around the same time 9 ish..maybe 915? What we saw was close(er up). I got it on tape. Did the same thing. sat in one place. moved inland. came back couple minutes later. hovered. lasted 20 minutes over here? I have the vid on my page. How many people in all these diff place saw something at that night around the same time? Can someone give us a count?

Sweet! I looked for postings to this specific date hoping that someone else saw then as well. I live in western, MA and saw them too! At first I thought it was a plane, so I stood watching & the colors were red, green, blue and white-ish rotating. It stayed for about 5 mins, and 2 others showed up. After 5min, they vanished into thin air. Awesome! Glad we are all seeing the same thing 01/28/2012!!!

saw it tonight, that is clearly a UFO. No other explanation. Not saying aliens. But its something way different then what we know.

Anyways, I am curious to hear who else is talking about this, because I would like to find out what it was. btbamfav23 - do you have more info on the sighting in Ontario? Was it the night of the 27th/early morning of 28th? I know there had to be more people who noticed this... We found another video that looked similar to what we saw, taken in Northern Minnesota on 1-28-11 which is pretty weird. It is on Youtube titled "UFO Sighting January 2011 Northern Minnesota"

We watched it for about 30 mins or so and it had moved slowly from the southwestern sky to further beneath the tree line still in the southwestern, more west sky. There is no way it could have been a plane or helicopter, as bright as the lights were, there would have been engine sound. I thought maybe a blimp of some sort, but it was moving too slow and in too straight of a path across the sky. If it was a star than it somehow managed to move faster in the night sky than the other stars.
