Hi I Have All The Equipment except a heating pad for my baby budgies does it mater if they have a heating pad? theyve lived outside in an aviary for about 2weeks and i wanna hand feed i have the care fresh stuff and paper towels in a lil critter container. i have syringes and the kaytee exact formula for baby birds to and a thermometer. :) am i good without the heating pad?

i wish i knew the formula. i love budgies. i have two budgies a male and a female and the female laid 4 eggs and it hatched but the mother didn't want it so i want to hand feed it.

Hi, the best age to take them out is about 3 weeks. Feed them about 4 times a day. I've bought complete feeding mixture (NutriBird) and my budgie really likes it. But you have to be patient and spend much time with your little budgie. It's not simple, I'm so tired because of it. Certainly, you can only play with the budgie for a few hours every day and then return back, but I haven't tried, so I can't say what effect would it have.

can i ask, where would you get the feeding equipment? I mean the syringe thing?
