I'm just showing more proof that the secret DS button is real. I'm using the calibration way, it's easier and safer than the toothpick way.

This is how it works;

1. Go to settings, tap the screen calibration button.

2. Instead of tapping the centre of the red square as you would if you were calibrating it normally, you would touch the bottom right corner of the red square.

3. As you notice while your testing, the red square turns blue when you tap the bottom right corner of the square.

4. Now press confirm and turn the DS off.

5. Now, if you have not already done so, insert a Wi-Fi compatible game. Start the game.

6. Go to Wi-Fi Settings. Tap the big blue button saying "Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection Settings"

7. Once in the settings menu, tap a connection box that says "None".

8. Now, tap the Upper Left corner of the screen, if you see a little square pop up in that corner for a second; Congratulations, you just activated the Simple Start Wi-Fi button!

  • what is the actulal point of doing this

  • It actually DOES look like you tapped the button with your middle finger that time around, but I actually tried it with my broken DS since I had nothing to lose, and it does actually work. It even shows that tiny yellow symbol at 1:08 (though your stylus is covering most of it) and that doesn't seem to appear anywhere else on any button (that I know of)

For me it shows the blank white screen, though I used Connection 2 to test it because my Connection 1 is already set up.

  • i just now did im shock...

  • if its a secret why are you telling us

  • It worked but I have a tiny problem. THERES NO WRITING ON THERE?!? its so wierd. When it couldn't connect (or so what I thought CO I COULDN't SEE ANY WRITING!!!!!) It had a blan rectang;le that said ok in the corner.

  • it works but i want ti to ctually connect me to wifi

    no fair

  • gosh, that totally worked! I didn't believe you at the first time, but when i tried it, it works !

  • @Pr0ject115 worked to me

  • This is stupid and proved that people like some useless "secrets". Try a Japanese game on your DS and the "simple WiFi button" will just show up in the middle instead of hiding in the corner.

  • It works, but it dont connect? im on step 3 and it says conart wi-fi compatible acces point. HELP?
