Israel's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Danny Ayalon explains the historical facts relating to the issue of refugees in the Israeli Palestinian conflict. The video explains the reason there are still refugees after more than six decades is because of Arab leaders' recalcitrance to accept their brethren and the United Nations which created a separate agency with unique principles and criteria. The video also highlights the issue of the Jewish refugees who were forced out of their homes in the Arab world, and were subsequently absorbed by the State of Israel.

  • @idoIerner , flumoxed2,

As you seem to know so much about the international law and as you are so concerned about Israel allegedly using white phosphorous in build-up areas, maybe you present us the chapter in the international law which allows firing thousands of rockets on israeli cities and vilages!

  • Very Biased Video. As a neutral party I can say that the estimates he gives do not match the UN estimates, and the video doesn't discuss the formation of Israel and the landscape of the country before Israel's formation. Also to say that Israel was completely innocent is comical.

  • @regelemihai Goldstone wrote in an op-ed peice, after being told he wold not be allowed to return to Israel and visit his family , that had he been given more information and not been denied access to the IDF in Israel he would have changed ONE part of his report but he stood by the overwhelming bulk of his report . . as did the rest of the authors of the Goldstone report - read the report, read his op-ed piece

  • @regelemihai

The list is very long. But let's start with his first statement: "In May 1948 the local arab population was joined by seven arab countries in a collective attempt to destroy the newly-established Jewish state".

1.There was no collective attempt at anything. In fact, the problem the Palestinians faced was that most of the arab nations were not really willing to help out with troops.

    2. There was no aim to destroy any state. Simply to defend against zionist aggression.

  • @palimpsestransparent Such as...?

  • @idoIerner Goldstone came out renouncing the report. It was a biased report that drew its sources from the pseudo-humanitarian pro-Hamas organization named B'teselem, whose data has also been exposed as being a heaping pile of stinking lies.

  • @idoIerner Goldstone himself admitted the report was bullshit

  • @oc00011

US Human Rights Organization Human Rights Watch published a 71 page report titled "

"Rain of Fire, Israel’s Unlawful Use of White Phosphorus in Gaza" and said that Israel's usage of the weapon was illegal.

'" their use in densely populated neighborhoods, including downtown Gaza City, violated international humanitarian law (the laws of war), which requires taking all feasible precautions to avoid civilian harm and prohibits indiscriminate attacks"'
