Penny Anti Parking Meters

This is a public service announcement griping about the City of Berkeley's decision to plug all the dime slots in all of its parking meters. At the time, (pre-1994) people were filing down pennies in a special way that could make the parking meters register maximum time with just one penny. I'd say this was retribution toward Berkeley's notoriously rampant meter maid squad mercilessly ticketing every car in sight. But I suppose the City of Berkeley had to live up to its stone cold parking ticket-distributing reputation and block all the dime slots.
This is dated material now since they have new parking meters that take credit cards and are probably unhackable.
