Veddy nice! I've only been installing for about 6 years now, but I am SO glad I was taught be a couple of "old school" veterans with 25+ years of experience each! I totally agree with you glazw1zrd about installers having actual skills...I see way too many jobs down here in Arizona done by hacks with a couple weeks of training and sent out like they are master techs! Just gotta love those jobs where the last asshole destroyed the molding retainer clips and glued everthing down! GRRR! :)

Thanks Eric. Great video. I called from out of state with a general installation question, and you were happy to call me back and share your expertise. Your customer service is surely a reflection of your quality work and reputation! Cheers

theres nothing wrong with long knifing the bottom out. you just need practice and contol. yes there are some fitters that shouldnt! but this chap has done a good job! how is it unsafe to do that?

I only hope you do the same job for everyone.. good job, but thats easy when its your car, not everyone has a glass rack sitting in their garage:) just poking at ya.. done right!

very nice..... this is how to not be a hack!
Nicely done do you find it easier to push the moulding in after the windshield is in place or glue it to the glass before hand

@loanshark77 I usually install the upper molding after the glass is set but I have used the universal u-lip molding that attaches to the glass first before setting.

Car protection?? What are you looking for fender covers? Being a veteran of twenty five years in the trade and in FULL control of my long knife, no damage and a clean removal. Power tools are used when needed but fortunate for me, I was trained back when you actually needed skill to replace a w/s. If you find this dangerous, I question your merit!
