  • why doesnt the this work for the sound?\

  • @BlackRacingRox It doesn't work for the sound because the velocity envelope is a video only effect. To sync the sound with the speed change of the video, use use the method I show in my YouTube video, 'Speed up Slow down portions of video in Sony Vegas Movie Studio'

  • I use the velocity line sure... so that speads up the visual, but the audio thats tied with it doesn't speed up, and I can't add a velocity line to audio soo.... how do I fix that?

  • @zzXsc0pesXzz To sync the sound with the speed change of the video, use use the method I show in my YouTube video, 'Speed up Slow down portions of video in Sony Vegas Movie Studio'

  • Hm..I have a random question, do you happen to know how to save a video with the sped up audio? Because I can't Dx

  • @xKirikoChanx3 If the video isn't saving properly, it is usually due to the codec used in the source video. This is a problem usually with mp4/mov/ or highly compressed downloaded videos. If you start with higher quality video, you won't run into problems adding effects or rendering the results.

  • For some reason My velocity line (green line won't show up) Also my clips are zoomed out alot, I can hardly see it, Help

  • @AmyBoosh Yes, at max, this will speed up the video by 300%, reducing the video play time to about 1/3 of what it originally is. If you have Sony Movie Studio, use the method I show in my YouTube video 'Speed up Slow Sony Vegas Movie Studio'

  • You sir, are the man. Thank you very much!

  • THANK YOU SIR!

  • weldone mate.

  • @7h3d4rkw0lf Render the sped up section, and reimport the rendered video into the project. Then speed up that section again. Or use the free Virtual Dub software - with it you can speed up 24 hours into 3 minutes or less. I have a tutorial on my site showing how to do it with virtual dub
