Its a Japan ONLY h23 vtec, they dont make vtec 2.3's here :( i have been waiting for one in japan to have an affordable price haha. How much did you pay and how much was shipping? My non-vtec h23 snapped timing belt so instead of doing the common (h22 to h23) ima grab what you got there for my lude.

@jasonkabbes this is actually a friend of mines ej6, he said yes the engine is from japan, but it cameout of a euro accord, meaning the engine was imported from japan and swapped into the euro accord, then he got the engine.. he cant remember what site he got the engine from, its been yrs, .he got it for $2500 with ecu and trans ...but i see a handful of them on ebay time to time..

@bakadakalaka You obviously don't know what your talking about. That engine is from a JDM CH9 Accord wagon that was AWD but only came with a 4spd auto. The Accord Euro R is a totally different car that is NOT a european model, they just call it the Euro R because it's sporty and luxury and it was made to compete with other european cars in it's class. The Euro R has a 220 ps H22a engine.

@bakadakalaka The euro r accord came with a redtop h22. The bluetop out of the JDM accord SiR is the H23 with vtec.

@WarpedNut Sorry guy but this motor only came in a 97-00 Accord waggon SiR. And it only came auto. The other one you're talking about was a F20B engine. I know this because I own a prelude with the H23A motor and I'm a big honda guy.

@jasonkabbes that would be a good choice that car shown in the vid is mine alot of these people that under rate the H series beast of a motor , serious people make mistakes on what ecu to install and down grading you OBD system from what your car ecu is, best to stay with your car + ecu your using this is why they get what they get on HP's because of the ecu and obd.. if you need anymore Questions let me know and you can check out the vids i have on my car bro... peace
