@OrganNLou thats an interesting characterization of the republican party. you left out the part about individual liberty. big government generally constricts individual liberty. what the average joe is and isnt allowed to do. you speak of the government as if its some sort of beautifully complex thing which must mean that a conservative must be intellectually numb not to see it. now as far as "progress", how do you personally define "progress"?

@RonPaulTRUTH when you say "illness" are you implying that heroine users dont often become violent and out of control? its not like they have the flu. i understand your kingpin argument, but how are things going to get better when we make it legal? you know how many people i know who use heroine? zero. but i know potheads who would likely be tempted to abuse it if it were accessible. are we helping eliminate kingpins or opening the floodgates for chaos?

@Ghannon11 Just because foxnews says that or rush limbaugh doesn't mean its true. He is now in a dead heat in iowa and is going to win iowa. RP just started getting endorsement from state senators in NH. The polls that the MSM puts up are obviously a fraud. I have see so many signs of RP in iowa and i have yet to see ONE of any other candidate.

At one time these 2 hated each other and I still think Rush does not like Newt. Rush and many others are forced to like and support old Newt. Newt pimps them all.

@Ghannon11 I understand what you are saying, but its not like Heroin will be legal across the board. It would be up to the states to make and enforce those laws. The Federal war on drugs is horrible. It keeps kingpins(who support all types of evil) in power and bankrupts the country at the same time. There is no winner or end. Drug abuse is an illness, not a crime. illness is treated with help, not jail. We have 3 million in jail. We jail more people per capita than any other nation.
