No, it's not a bandage. I guess it's supposed to represent a veil. Remember, the song is about Egypt.

how can this be 1978 when this song wasn't even released till 1980's, same with wedding list and violin.

Both "Egypt", "Violin" and "The Wedding List" were written and recorded before this show was made. There is a demo version of "Violin" from 1976 and both "Violin" and "Egypt" were performed on her 1979 tour. This show was recorded in October 1979 and broadcast in December 1979. The versions of all those three songs are pretty similar to the album versions, so I guess the recordings were mostly finished when this show was made. But all the songs were recorded especially for the show.
