I was stationed at the 585th Maint Co, 2nd log Command - Machinato Service Area - 1967-68. In my early daze there, I went to Naminoue alot. The Queenbee & Kokusai club were my fav's. I'm in Facebook - PM me thru here and I'll link you to my page. It has lots of photo's of Okinawa & Naminoue I took before I left in 10/67.

I was at Naha 67 - 68 82nd FIS spent a lot of time in Namanui. I found when you got away from the GI bars and went to a real Okinawan places that the people where wonderful. I have fond memories. (a bit fuzzy i'm 63 now.)
Does anyone remember Jacks Stake House? if I'm remembering the name right..
