@killermonkey584 halfing isn't the problem :) like jtjunkstuff said they can make excellent monks... toegoff started a bit different and he missed the AC boots from the prelude and the weapon finesse feat on level 3. if not he would have 21 AC and 8 AB at this point with this build... [that is with 5 points in tumble]

wow, I never had any problems playing as a monk, but thats probably because I'd never play as a halfling monk

@KrautUnited Lol, this game is awesome. He went with Halfling more for the backstory. Although, you can make excellent monks with them. They are harder to hit since they get the small stature feat, giving them a bonus to their attack and defense. They can also get high AC from dexterity (as long as he maximizes it). Except he would have to get some decent gloves with special damage on them (like sonic, electric, cold, or fire... etc), since he will be doing next to nil damage from his strength.

Why would you even take a halfling monk with small fists and less damage? For the sake of fail you could just have taken a gnome.
