Started smoking during my first year of uni: figured it would be a good way to make friends and socialize at parties. Quit at the end of my first year but picked it up again at the start of the second year when I got a job: everyone smoked during their breaks. I've quit again as part of my 2012 new year's resolution. I've quit for nearly 2 months now. I don't have any withdrawals except when I'm very drunk at parties or during breaks at work.
