Invade and conquer, I guess. Besides, the conservatives and traditional Republicans are the most likely converts to the liberty movement that is spearheaded by the libertarians. CPAC also give groups like YAL and C4L a chance to confront the neocons on their own turf in front of a large audience. We can show how the neocons are idiots.
Whenever I see a far-right Republican or conservative at a libertarian event or vice versa, I kind of cringe inside and feel like I'm being betrayed. Like I'm being sold out for convenience's sake. I mean, the tea partiers and the far-right Republicans and conservatives at CPAC are so engrained in their beliefs, it's almost impossible to bring the party and movement back to its roots. So why bother?
Let's form our own counterrevolution to the tea party shit. A true liberty movement.
Of course, if I were head of YAL, I probably wouldn't even set foot at CPAC. We'd set up our OWN counterconference for liberty not far from cpac headquarters at the same time. We need to build a pro-liberty base on our own. That's the only way we'll survive as a movement.
I guess i kind of applaud YAL for trying to reach out to CPAC and bring them back to the true roots of conservatism. However, I think the liberty movement needs to stop piggybacking on other groups or conferences. We shouldn't have to go to CPAC to get our message across. Why don't we have our OWN convention?
In fact, Mark Skousen did start one called FreedomFest. Is YAL gonna attend that, too, or are you gonna sell out your liberty brethren by only going to the dreaded CPAC?
Where can I get suits like these to keep forever?

I'd really rather not associate myself with nuts like Glenn Beck, Andrew Breitbart, Ryan Sorba, and the like.
