Just over a year ago Alan Northrop was released from jail. He served a 17 years for a rape and robbery he said he didn't commit. While Northrop was moved from prison to prison, his children grew up and his friends saved for retirement. A year ago new DNA testing finally allowed Northrop to overturn his conviction and clear his name, with the help of a law clinic. But Washington State hasn't compensated Northrop for his years in jail.

i would like to see what the woman has to say. Being raped is awefull, but just because you can make someone pay doesn't mean it makes it right. The rape victim got something awefull done to her and it turn she did something even worse imho. She should pay...

Alan should sue the eye witness in civil court for 17 years of income from the logging job he had when he was arrested, plus interest and punitive damages.
She should be punished for destroying an innocent man's life.
