One of the best documentaries I've ever seen, speaking philosophically, journalistically, sociologically and personally. Love it. Extremely recommended.

@MightyZarkon Britain was not demanding Jewish immigrants pay money on arrival after the Second World War, it was intercepting them and putting them in detention camps on Cyprus. Until you know the actual history rather than skimming Wikipedia, do shut up.

@uncleadolf You can't win. Your view of history is flawed because you don't read the evidence or the history. You base your answers on propaganda proven to be false. It's called cherry picking. Go ahead oh wise guru show me my errors...
-
@uncleadolf Timing. Also, Britain was demanding that these Jewish arrivals pay 1,000 pounds sterling upon arrival. Palestine was Britains territory not Germanys. I bid you read more about Chaim Weizmann and Edwin Blacks, the Transfer Agreement. Ultimately Britain did champion the Balfour Declaration which paved the way for the Rothschild money mafia to create the state of Israel under the auspice of Great Britain which pissed off the Arabs, and risked the Suez Canal over it.

@identitynoneed Well, if you watch another of Adam Curtis' documentary, "The Century of Self" it focuses specifically the Freudian ideas... Obviously the documentary is long enough without that focus and thats probably why because why it was left out...
If you look carefully, Curtis' documentaries compliment eachother everytime with a different focus, but mainly the same subject of the instruments and means of mass control

@MightyZarkon I believe I can do more than match wits with you when it comes to the history of Israel and Zionism, particularly as you didn't even answer my question: How does Zionist terrorism against the British and the British attempts to stop Jews reaching Palestine fit with your claim of British support for Zionism after or during the Second World War? Give a straight answer rather than an ad hominem response this time.
-
@uncleadolf You think you can match wits with me about the history of Israel or Zionism? Freemasonry? Whatever you think you know is probably so flawed I will just laugh at you for trying but by all means go ahead and embarrass yourself.
Thank you Adam for giving us yet another great insight to humanity.

"Rational" you never meet any one who is rational especially in academia, you meet people who would like to think they are rational, but put a pretty girl in front of them and their rationality goes to pieces, this is almost the story of history.
And of course the world is not a rational place, there s an equal and opposite subjective element to every outcome, yin and yang
