Great PICs! BTW...you don't need a Sony DSLR to take great Hummingbird PICs. ANy camera with a shutter speed of at least 1/500 of a second to 1/1000 of a second will do! Also daylight "fill-flash" will just certainly help freeze those wings.

We only get Ruby-throated Hummingbirds here in Nova Scotia and they are all gone till next Spring :(

Thanks. It was so fun, there were sooooo many! I can't wait to go back. Just wish I had the newest Sony DSLR. It apparently will capture a moving bullet. Imagine what a hummy photo would look like?
