The Bible is not a credible source of information. A degree in a field of extensive study and work does actually make one more knowledgeable in that field. A man with a degree in historical linguistics knows much more about his field in historical linguistics than a preacher who only knows the Bible. Scientific evidence is demonstrable and can be demonstrated by any person with the materials to do so. Science and Physics is not a "false religion," because it is NOT a religion.

I remember watching this series on television (PBS) thirty years ago, and I was impressed then, as well as now, I wish that it was updated with newer graphics!

Cosmos was my first exposure to Dr. Carl Sagan, I was a loyal follower and tuned in every week, I discussed the series in school with my science teacher, I never knew that people could be so closed minded, yet we entrust them with teaching our children!

And what of David Rives practising deception with known facts? He derides a given fact in one video, then upholds it in another. That's him lying. Your bible says deception is wrong--any priest can tell you that.

How did you "learn it was a scam"? I think you simply dismissed evolution because it went against what was taught you. I went to church and never heard a word against science.

There's no science in the Bible--it hadn't been invented back in those times.

@MadHighway I have alot of videos proving there is a Creator and evol. id a scam. I have taken tons of Science classes all through school and in college. I learned it was a scam in secular school. It isnt Science. You cant just read the Bible and understand it. Its Gods living word. You need to study it and ask for wisdom & understanding.

I've seen David Rives' videos, and he's guilty of deception, which I believe is a sin in your bible. He knows he's putting one over on people, because he mixes lies with the truth. Now who in your religion does that?

Maybe someday we'll get you into a science class. I've already read the Bible!

If you want to learn the truth studythe Bible ask God for wisdom and understanding. for some real Science you know were my channel is. The truth is Always the truth no matter if its 6000 years old or 1 second old maybe some day you will learn that.

@MadHighway God made all of the solar Systems. Those fossils R all the same age. Fake dating techniques does not help your argument they have been proven completly inacurate 1000s of times over only evol. Faith followers still believe in them. The Bible teaches us the most important things we need to know if it included all knowledge it w/ B an endless series of volumes & no 1 w/ live they would only read & there would stil B people who would lie & right for ex. Fake science books.
