Miranda POV;
It was the day the where Jen and I were celebrating
ten years of our friendship. We had a sleepover the
previous night. And now we were both having
Frosted Flakes with apple juice like we always have done
Since we were seven.
End Of POV
Miranda; So are we gonna go shopping later today
Jen? Because I saw the cutest t-shirt at Holiester the other
day and I your judgment.
Jennette; Yea that sounds fine.(smiles) Can you believe weve
been friends now for ten years now? Geez where does the time go now were
at our senior year in high school
Miranda; I know right?
Jen; Come lets finish up our breakfast and head out!
Miranda; Hold on Jen let me finish my Frosted Flakes!
Miranda finished her food and headed out with her best friend Jennette.
After awhile of shopping at the mall
Miranda; Ohh look this is the shirt I was talking about earlier the pink one. What do you think about it Jen?(smiles and points it out)
Jennette; Yeah its fine(feeling light headed)
Jennette POV;
The room started spinning. I couldnt think straight then I blacked out
Miranda hears a thump on the floor and its Jennette
Miranda; Oh my god! Jennette! (goes to her and knees beside her bestfriend)
Help please! Jennette please wake up. (tears start to form) Jenette wake up!
Miranda POV; She wasnt breathing.Not responsive to me. I was so worried about her
The Paramedics arrived and they took Jennette and put her onto a stretcher. I hoped in with the paramedics and they started asking all these questions I didnt over half of them except for the basics like her full name and contact information. They told me to stay in the waiting room and theyll work on her. It was hours before I found out anything. Then one doctor came out and said
Doctor; Jennette McCrudy has leukemia. She could die anytime soon. She doesnt have much time left.
Miranda; But she cant be dying! Sh-shes my best friend! (about to cry)
Miranda POV; Was I dreaming.Was it a bad dream gone intoa night mare? No it was real. My bestfriend was dying. Practically my sister. My only friend. She was my only friend. I couldnt live without her. I always had her back. And she had mine. When my boyfriend broke up with me she was there telling me that he was a loser and I deserved so much more. When I broke my leg in the fifth grade she was there in the emergency room with me getting it into a cast. When her brother went into the army I was right there for her. Jennette and I were everything to eachother. And it all started with one person calling me a loser in the second grade. Jennette was new to the school, she was a loner like me. She stood up for me and pushed the girl into the mud and said, Hey Im Jennette!I am new here and would you be my friend? I simpely said Best friends till the very end!. Its the thruth best friends till the very end.
End Of POV
Miranda; (walks into Jens room) Hey Jennette(sad)
Jennnette; Hey dont cry Leukemia runs in my family. Theres nothing I can do about it. We had a great 10 years of a friendship. Thank you Miranda for being my one and true friend.
Miranda; No thank you Jen for being my best friend. Best friends till the very end remember that?
Jennnette; Yes. Best friends till the very end(having trouble breathing)
Miranda; (hugs her) Please dont leave me. Jennette. (starts to cry again)
Jennette; (hugs back) I will never leave you Mir----.(stops breathing and slowly dies in Mirandas arm)
