Everyone. serbetli100 is not Japanese. It is Korean residents in Japan.
Please disregard it because it is a strange person!

@thekiwicanuck Lifestyle and culture of S. Pacific is very different from one of the whites who came from Europe but the whites impose it on the Pacific islanders. Nonsense. And you punish, execute them when they don't follow it. It's arrogant, ugly and cruel. Leave them alone.

@TheNSWPoliceForce Sorry! but NZ police cars have always looked better than the Aussie ones....Our livery designs and lighbar setups have always been more far advanced than over the ditch....
-
@TheCaptainFaz Yep the livery was adopted from the UK police livery. I think they call it Battenburg
-
id want to be arrested just so i could have a ride in 1 of these puppys. At the same time telling the cop to 'Do a burnout mate'. lol

Nice to see all the tax dollars at work in the way of fancy cars and lights.

The NZ police should of waited for the 2010 Holden Commodore SV6 range cause of the SIDI Engines? They would of got more power using less fuel

@bassetthound007 think the changed livery on the sides save $100 per car
-
You Don't want one of these chasing you down ...

WOW The Ve commodores look very cool for nz police , Love the windscreen lights . Very nice looking police car ,, nsw police still have better colour police cars XD , Big leap for nz police
Why have the police changed the livery on the side on the cars?

Its probably cheaper, and I'm told they may put safety messages etc on the blank areas.

were the cops there to show off their cars or were they on duty? Did the guy (the one got into the back seat) really got arrested?

The stand was there for recruitment purposes, one of many police tasks, so yes, I'm sure they technically were on duty in that respect. I think the showgrounds had their own security wandering around though. There was also a new BMW traffic bike and an ex-LAPD Chev Impala next to this Commodore, along with weapons etc...

Was it worth going though? I was thinking about it but got put off cuz the show ground parking is a nightmare.

Absolutely! I missed it in '07, so I was glad I could catch the '08 show. I think the price has been going up, but still less than $20, not bad for a full day's entertainment. I took the earliest bus possible, thereby avoiding the parking issues and some of the crowds. I have plenty of other vids of the show on here, as well as '06 and maybe '05 too...
