This is the smallest woodgas stove I have built. It was a combination of a campbels soup can and a refried beans can. It is not the fastest but it is light weight and the fuel for it canbe found most anywhere you hike. It is shown how to build it step by step with the exception of pot stand.

  • 10 people burnt themselves and hammered their fingers and got cut making this

  • @symaklon Thats part of the building process, safety in someone elses shop is not my fault. At least bandage sales went up!

  • @symaklon I look at the bright side of it, I hope that the burns were caused to cauterize the cuts! As for getting a finger hammered on well even I do that and I like the video but than again Im bias. LOL

  • best design ive seen so far!!!....really well thought out, simple to make, extremely compact, and highly functional..........well done sir...

  • @morgman77 Thank you! The stove works well, and its a tough li'l bugger too. two months on a trail and it was the only stove used and is ready to go again. Thanks for your input and for watching! Take care!

  • who would dislike this video !

    and for what reason ?

  • @19wael96 Anyone with an opinion may comment good or bad would prefer it to be constructive criticism but most of the time if is bad it is someone who is just hiding behind a User Name wanting to stir something up. I just take it with a grain of salt. Thank you for watching and hope it helped you gain an idea, take care.

  • @tombreed If you are the inventor of wood gas stoves, you must be at least 150 years old !!!!

  • Really like the design and construction. Gonna have to try this version out. Thanks!

  • great step by step instructiond\s

  • What happens if you reverse the holes to high on the outside and low on the inside. I expect the air entering would be preheated as the fire got hotter. The preheated air would gassify the wood improving efficiency.

  • Awesome...!!!

  • That's neat!

    What is the music called?

  • I would kill to know who performed the song you played in this video. Only one bad thing...the music was so damned good, I couldn't concentrate on the instructions. Great video!

  • Great workmanship, bad science. It takes 5 times as much air to burn the Woodgas as to make it, so make top holes in this ratio. The tall flames above can in the video show not enough secondary air. Also, the pot holder can then hold pot an inch away from stove, not six inches as shown. Tom Reed, inventor of wood gas stoves about 1985.

  • im waiting for the part where the titanic sinks

  • truly awesome music!! what is the name of music. how can i get it?

    great vid by the way..
