Dig it by recording artist Bryan OQuinn has been rejuvenated and to top ten statuses on the independent Neo-soul music chats in 2008.

Dig it (underground quiet storm cellar mix) is an ultra smooth neo soul song written, produced and recorded by singer /songwriter/ musician Bryan OQuinn, released 1996 on BSM Entertainment Records. Described by critics as an artistic offering ... with old-school crooning and new-school beats, With his Dance background and classic soul influences, which include Smokey Robinson ,Philip Bailey, Ten City and Prince, Bryan OQuinn created a unique and natural sound, blending classic soul arrangements with contemporary R&B beats.

Dig it was initially created totally by chance through one of those live unplanned moments on stage in 1993 as an improvisational jazz piece that came to vocalist. One night at a hip-hop open mic forum in Charlotte NC (Cafe Da Da) while watching and listening to several rappers freestyle over a beat, OQuinn spontaneously took the mic and began to sing freestyle jazzy

@1Mellodee I would agree with you this was a alternate mix and is not the one they use to play on the radio ... I heard O'Quinn was re-releasing some of his eariler recording new digital masters .. let's hope they showcase the orginal mix of Dig It in HD ... if the do I can assure it will be sounding nice!

Yes this actually is an older Bryan O'Quinn song it charted and peaked at # 9 on THE independent  NEO SOUL CHARTS , all his old tracks are being digitally remastered for new cd and he has new songs too. I think he is very creative and talented .
