James accepting their PRS for Music Heritage Award plaque on the site of The Haçienda, where Jim Glennie, Paul Gilbertson, Gavan Whelan and Tim Booth played their first gig as James on 17 Nov 1982. Peter Hook of New Order was also present as one of the owners of the legendary nightclub.

I've been lucky enough to see James live on 4 occasions. One thing that struck me every time is how much they seem to enjoy being togther and playing together....spending almost 30 years together as a band can't be easy (like most marriages), and they still seem like mates from back on the housing estate....what a great bunch of guys....would love to meet them in the pub
