Tried and Tested Pilot Episode 'I Like Rock'

Tried and Tested is a silly deadpan comedy based around two young Cork guys (Alan and Emmett) who are infatuated with their housemate Zoey. In the pilot episode 'I Like Rock', Zoey shows a newfound interest in rock music. In an attempt to impress Zoey, Alan and Emmett pretend to be rockstars -- a plan which seems to be going well for them until their lies land them on stage in front of a crowd! The comedy is inspired by the deadpan style of Flight of the Conchords fused with the Irish silliness of Father Ted and the IT Crowd and the structure of Seinfeld.

Arthur Matthews (writer of Father Ted) described is as being ""Quite sweet. Flight of the Conchords influence there!"

@EnterSkywalker Firstly thanks for watching and commenting. Just to point out we didn't steal any format nor did we say we copied anything.. We were influenced by Flight of the Conchords, Father Ted, Seinfeld to name a few and created a format of our own to suit what we wanted to do.
