@ortiz2468 i heard that petroleum jelly actually pulls the ink to the outer layers of the skin, i wouldn't recommend it
-
it's still healing and it's been 12 days now. its still pealing and it started peeling after the first 3 days... it isnt itchy but i got inked on my outer forearm and the hair thats growing back in over the tattoo is itchy. it looks like it got some light scabbing spots on it. my first tattoo didnt. the first one i used the ointment for 2 weeks then lotion after it healed. it took long to heal and its small.

my artist told me use the ointment for the first 3-4 days, not weeks then use the lotion

@ortiz2468 many places would recommend it, but rather try and get A+D ointment or Bepanthen. Alternatively get tattoo goo or a similar product.

I have got a question! I know it is not good idea to make a tattoo in summer but is there a problem if I make it on winter?

olive oil is best moisturizer

@miriam725100
Well you can't swim or be in the sun for two weeks, so winter is the best time IMO

Usually they want you to use a UNSCENTED antibacterial hand soap..cover the entire tattoo and then immedietley dab off with a wash cloth...dry the area and then put on the lotion they recommended
