I've seen countless independent films which make this look like Citizen Kane. I don't rate the bad independents because they are so cheaply made, and amateur, that it blurs the line of what should be considered a movie.

4 stars is not twice is good as 2 stars. Each tier is relative to that below it. So it's like saying that a 3 star movie has twice the quality of a 2, while a 4 has twice the quality of a 3. I think I'll make some adjustments on my site to explain this.

The lowest my scale goes is 1 star. I would give the '94 Street Figher just that. I think there were elements in the craft of filmmaking that set this above Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat: Annihilation, two of the absolute worst films I've seen, let alone this is one of the better video game based films (not saying much at all).

Ok I agree it wasnt as great as it cudv been, but come on you guys are being a little pedantic about this movie. Its live action, so ur not gonna get to see EVERYTHING u saw from the original franchise, like costumes for instance. Some of the costumes wud look stupid in the film. They made this film in hopes of making sequels, dats y they started out wit origins 1st and lesser characters, overall i give it a 7/10 its really not as bad as u ppl make it. I for one, liked the movie soundtrack!

Street Fighter : The Legend of Chun Li is slightly better than Dragonball : Evolution....I thought Dragonball Evolution suck bad.....checkout Transformers : Revenge of the Fallen roams the theaters and everyone really applauded to the movie....why? Transformers : Revenge of the Fallen kicks ass!

Interesting comments (I noticed that in Blanka's ending too which should be about as official as it can get), but these also show some of the trouble with the mythology of Street Fighter. There seems to be no canon whatsoever. The games contradict the movies, the movies contradict the TV shows and comics. It's a real mess to ask the audience to know backstory from a specific source, instead of all or just the movie being shown.

And as for blanka, rumors spread that charlie was blanka, yeah i do remember that. It came from outta nowhere of course i believed that too. But when you beat the game of sf2, his mother calls him Jimmy, not charlie. Maybe ppl's memory replaced the word Jimmy with charlie. I know mine did for some odd reason.
