@KryptonDaVillain I tend to believe my own eyes than anything i read in a magazine, and I saw Hatton take Mayweather 8 rounds and have him hanging through the ropes and land some good shot throughout the fight although he lost in the end.

Then I saw Paquiao eat Hatton alive and end his career with a punch so hard it could have brain damaged him, in slow motion it even compressed his neck, Mayweather obviously saw it also, thats why he's avoided Paquiao so far, no more excuses.

@photographerireland I read a magazine in December which had an interview with Ricky Hatton & he himself admitted Floyd hits harder than Pacquiao. It wasn't him getting outclassed by neither solely that made him retire but the two, although I'd say Mayweather's was more inflicting on him mentally as it was his first ever loss as well.

@KryptonDaVillain Just about all fighters have a loss or a few losses, because hatton lost to Mayweather doesent mean he come less prepared to fight Paquiao, in fact he probably trained harder so he might do better, If you watch highlights of Hatton fights you'll see he was a deadly body puncher, he took Mayweather 8 rounds and at time troubled him, he never troubled Paquiao and was hit harder in the 3rd round knockout than anything Mayweather hit him with for 8 rounds.

@photographerireland It would have been better if he hadn't of faced the Hatton that was handed his first loss by Mayweather, which obviously affected him emotionally. Fact: Floyd's résumé is greater than Manny's. It's been put out in the open that both fighters want the fight so neither is ''avoiding each other''.

You're forgetting fighters like Ricky Hatton, the UK's top man, and he wasn't 40 years old, Paquiao retired Ricky with ease, the other fighters like Mosley etc may have been a little older but they were all very experienced fighters with good records and Paquiao dispatched them all like they were nobodies, The problem isn't who he's fighting, it's who is avoiding him it's not his fault that Mayweather is making excuses to avoid him, or the only ones with the balls to face him are older??

@bill23138 He wants to. In fact, he's the one that's been proposing the fights all along. Mayweather just keeps coming up with counter-proposals that stall the progress. I heard the latest from Mayweather was an unfair purse split. It almost seems as if Mayweather is delaying until Pac gets older (negating his biggest advantage which is speed). Regardless, even if Mayweather finally fights a 40-yr old Pac and beats him, he deserves no respect. He's a reprehensible racist.

@MrEl7decopas well I only semi agree on that.. the only way we "know" about those crushed up asthma pills is louis resto.. resto has been lying for over 25 years and all of a sudden he admits the glove stripping claims there was plaster (yet none was found) and talks about asthma pills. @MrEl7decopas the reason for this was that by round 13 Aron Pryor was winded and tired and and Asma Medication causes the lungs to expand thus allowing a burst of air which helped a winded Pryor against Alexis Arguello

@photographerireland well I rephrased to PEDs... steroids are a form of PED, and yes, taht was my mistake.. people often confuse the too... while MOST steroids are PEDS (technically all are, yet not all of them are used to enhance performances in sports), not all PEDs are steroids..
