How come most doctors think you can just drug people into good health. I know people who've suffered badly since they started taking statins,, but the doctors just give them more drugs to help them with the problems that the statins have created. Half the people I know are now on all sorts of drugs and hardly any of them look healthy. Drugs should be a last resort,, but there's too much money to be made by the big drug companies,, and the doctors are used by them to push their products it seems.

Outdated information another parrot pharmaceutical representative. Statins are detrimental to one health, use more niacin stop cholesterol inhibiting drugs they work against our body Body doesn't make mistake, find out the underlying cause of high cholesterol.

I truly believe that statins caused my father to have a stroke. At 75 his doctor said he had some plaque in his arteries (never effected him from what I saw) and prescribed a statin. After that it was all downhill, muscle wasting, weight loss, pain, eventually onto oxygen, amnesia, dementia and eventually a fatal bleeding stroke at 79.
