@DeathBringer769 I find most peoples perception of what the end of the universe truly means to be quite contradictory
For what is space? Space is NOTHING. How do we build foundational ideas on such a premise? What we are truly interested in is the matter that OCCUPIES said space. Matter gives arise to all 4 of the known fundamental forces in the universe. Look up the "heat death of the universe" and see a very likely outcome of the universe. For all matter decays into lesser forms of itself(OT)

Yes, in our fantasies reality can be what ever it wants! However, only through the true pursuit of knowledge(which is pursued through science) can we gain a better understand of the universe. For science is never right or wrong, it is a process through which knowledge/facts can be independently verified through others(thus, a reality we all see) can really gives us a true vision of "our reality". Which is the reality of the now, and the today, and the only reality that truly matters

Another vid pointing out that if the laws of Science were different so would be the world ! ... btw particles do escape black holes ..... another plagurised \ stolen Steven Hawking particle that belongs rightfully to Chandacressar ... sp .......

@iRibbit7 Are you saying there will never be an end to the universe then?

'anyway. this interpretation cancels out the possibility of time travel'
What is described is certainly a valid way of addressing time. Indeed, the speed of light in a vacuum can be seen as the 'speed of time'. Why can we not forward time-travel?
Relativistic motion leads to forwards time-travel and there's no way around that. Maybe you meant backwards? Why can't some reference frame have an 'anti-now' field? This is basically the origin of tachyons,

This makes a lot of sense when you consider being able to predict the future(or the now in another frame of reference). They found a way of uniting multiple now's simultaneously within their own which also gives rise to your unity video. With a unity of consciousness I believe we can rise above the limitations of our own understanding.

thank you that you share this....

@iRibbit7 But how? I mean the dinosaurus are gone how can he see the dinosaurus? and not the humans or what ever lives by then :P
So the speed of light is really the speed of now. That makes more sense. Time is an illusion since now waves move back and forth. Action becomes reaction, which makes up the illusion of time. If "now" traveled at infinite speed, everything that could happen, would happen at once and the universe would fast forward to the end instantly. There is no past, there is no future there is only now, always. The past is a shadow in our mind, and the future is a dream of what now could be. Trippy

@ricktbdgc Thank you, your comments are great! I'd like to be more specific on the topic of "if the Now traveled at infinite speed": The universe wouldn't fast forward to the end. An "end" would require "time" but there is no time. Only eternal change. Instead (what would happen is), all the local nows would be simultaneous.
You see, the point is that the speed of light or the now delay are limitations of the manifested world. They don't matter. Consciousness is always Now. It never takes time!

I see, so the speed of light is afraid of tickets by photon cops?

@newbetterandhappy Hell yeah, the fines are relentless. For sure they'd ruin me. Can't recommend travelling above c!

I have a silly question about the local now theory that relates to time travel. So lets say I was on another planet in another galaxy extremely far away from earth and I had a ultra advanced telescope that would permit me to see life on earth. Would I be able to see the past (dinosaurs, medieval people) depending how far away the other planet is from earth?

@How18To
Yes, you would look into the past of Earth. But this doesn't pertain to time travel at all. If you look at the moon, you also look into the past. It's light takes about 1.5 seconds to reach us. Of course, it's not really the past, it is your Now which contains the past of the Moon.
You know, I am writing this response in my Now while you're doing something else in your Now. You will be reading this response in your Now, while I'll be doing something else in my Now. It's always Now! :D
