I totally agree about the light thing. Except, my friend has a LTTO gun, and it doesn't light up so we don't know when he's out.

I'd like to, but a tournament requires more than one club within driving distance, and I'm the only one in this area. :\

When did this gun come out? I looked online for laser tag guns a few years ago for our church youth group and couldn't find anything I liked - at least under $100 a pair. We played at camp, but those were complicated and hard to tell when you got hit (may have been the LTTO - I don't know). We ended up getting shocking laser tag guns. The guys love it, but it scares a few girls and the wires between the gun and target come out way easy. These look much better. Are there quantity discounts?

They hit shelves in late August last year. They are widely available, but discounts will have to be clearance rather than volume, unless you can order 1,000 units direct from Hasbro, and have them shipped from China. ;-)
You probably had LTTO, which were hard to tell when you hit the other person until you got good at them. These are much better for that, and no wires to break! :)
