I remember telling everyone I knew that I was against the war, that our government was lying, that they're stealing our blood, and treasure. I alienated myself from everyone. Certainly they wanted nothing to do with me, as I was called traitor, coward, Muslim lover, told if I didn't like it get out of the U.S. & move to Iraq. As a citizen, I saw no reason to leave my country.

Most of those people have long since admitted they were wrong, I was right. There is ZERO comfort in that.
