Last week we performed at Coffee Gallery backstage in Alta Dena, California.
Molly Pasutti & I have been working together over many years, and this is one of our original songs called "Angel of Mercy". I wrote the music and Molly wrote the lyrics.
Here are the lyrics

How do I love thee?
Let me count the times I've tried
How can I love you
When you always run and hide
I will see beyond your darkness
To see the bed you've made
And I will light a candle
For I will not be afraid

Oh Angel of Mercy
See me bleed tonight
Oh Angel of Mercy
Let me sleep tonight

Halo above the water
Both your hands a bound with twine
How can I see you?
When you prefer me to be blind
But I have seen beyond your darkness
And I will rest in the bed you've made
And I'll blow out the candle
And I'll watch your halo fade

Oh Angel of Mercy
See me bleed tonight
Oh Angel of Mercy
Let me sleep tonight

How do I love thee?
Like a seed from deep inside
Like a leaf upon a river
Like a widow, not a bride
But I have seen beyond your darkness
And the rumpled bed unmade
And I will open wide the shutters
For I will not be afraid

Oh Angel of Mercy
I've bled all I'll bleed tonight
Oh Angel of Mercy
Let me sleep tonight
