Holy shit this is great!!!!

A great live band!!! They had EXCELLENT sound techs---this sounds almost EXACTLY like the Lp version!! By the way that album "Cheap Trick" was recorded LIVE in the studio with almost NO overdubs...

Nielsen is a wild man, always was, always will be. It is impossible to think him being in his sixties...

@vveq Why? For one, there's no play on words ('ello/elo) and secondly, this is a tribute to ELO. Nielsen and Petersson formed the band, inspired by a trip to the UK. Wasn't ELO (and Slade, etc) an influence on CT, besides the Beatles of course? There's a guy that's written much more about ELO and Cheap Trick, google alan thompson strange magic and you should find his site.

Geez, did I ever LOVE this album when it first came out (their debut album, not Budokan, though I loved Budokan, too). Robin Zander was soooooo cute, and SUCH a great singer. He had the growl, the pop sensibilities, everything!
