Now, I assumed you could figure out that number four was also about budgetary concerns. My bad, I overestimated your reading comprehension skills. Considering I mention it alongside discussing my state's economic shortfall and slashed education budget, I think it is pretty obvious what I meant. @nothri I don't particular care for Perry. You need to be intellectually honest when making comments. First, you need to understand where fire departments get most of their funding from. It's not the state. It is the local municipality and the county. Second, the cuts were made in state aid to the volunteer firehouses. The comment you made is to lead people to believe that three quarters of firefighters were let go and the state is burning due to lack of firefighters. You're nothing but a hack.

@imax1971 Really, If you don't like the 75% number, by all means feel free to do your own research and give us a number you think is more accurate. Whatever you come up with, your not going to negate the simple fact that our dear governor cut back on our firefighting budget massively, even though has had record heatwaves and been prone to brushfires for years. He publicly complains about FEMA, and yet slashes our own budgets so that they are the only agency left who can fight the fires.
