Roger, your sailing seems to be a lot less stressful or wet than eg Ellen McC's or Tracey Edwards. Is it simply because you are not racing, or because your craft is more sea kindly? Or?

Josephine, one of the points of my many voyages with Mingming is to develop a style of sailing that is unaggressive and harmonious. The rationale and methodology for this is explained at length in my books. Mingming has a 'soft' rig, the junk rig, and I sail her deliberately in a patient, unstressed manner. This is one of the major factors that enables me to make such long voyages in such a small yacht.
