My first recording attempt. This is a piece written by Liszt in his later years, characteristic of the despondency and depression the man suffered from during this period. A very dark and dissonant piece that never quite resolves.
Excellent rendition. Sounds like you have nice big hands. I have to cheat on this piece- I can stretch a 10th (which I believe is the biggest stretch in here), but awkward sharps/ flats mean I have to use my right thumb to play the top note of those big LH chords hehe. Well done.

Thanks for this. Haven't heard it for a long time. One of the most interesting of Liszt's later piano works. So desolate, so dissonant.
