MY VORTEC MAX VS A GRAY GTO WITH "2000$ HEADERS" QUOTE AS HE TOLD ME. WE BOTH HAD ABOUT THE SAME BOLT ONS EXCEPT HIS WERE VERY PRICY. THE BEST I RAN WITH OUT THE COMP CAM WAS 13.3 @98MPH IN THE 1/4 @HRP. I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO RUN IT NO MORE SINCE IM HAVING PROBLEMS WITH MY TRANNY.

Good run, I have been thinking about getting one of these trucks if I find a good deal, but I heard thats the weak point (the transmission) same with my GTP, I guess all GM transmissions aren't made to take more power than the vehicle has stock LOL can you get an Allison for this truck? I know Dodge trucks can get em...

Thanks and yes believe me the tranny is the weak point. Same tranny as the ss trailblazer but it was made for granny driving. I hope I can save for a 4L80E

No but now I have some I just haven't tried them....I now have a cam and polished ported heads plus other bolt ons so it should be faster
