Well the fact is Golliwoggs were never MEANT to be racist. American mothers would make the children ragdolls out of spare black clothes during times of the depression and rations. I tried making one with leggings that never fitted me, and never meant it as racist. I have a black friend and quite frankly she is more loyal to me than some of my white friends.
