I need a cb opened up to pass wide-band audio.....I just hooked up a mixer and a condenser mic......but my Texas Ranger CB will not let the bass through.

Hey MMM... It's the radioman135 up north.. (Paso Robles). Just wanted to let you know I used to have that radio (2527) ... Great radio! Good video btw.. Hope all is well with you and hope to hear ya out there soon. Tell everyone I said hello up in the NWC if you hear them out there. I am now a truck driver driving cross country but hear you guys talking once in a while. Maybe one day I'll get me a big ol' radio in my truck with that 24 volt system lol.. Take care bud!

Its nice to see other radios that you could fit the Mauldulator in. What is your range of radios that you can fit the Mauldulator in?

keep up the good work, i will gettin back with ya on the combo. i have 29 classic made in philly lol i would like to ship out to ya .. take care talk to ya later =)
Sure thing there Xcalibur :) The only thing is that the output power will not be quite as high, but that is what an amp can take care of ;)

Any radio that has a 12 Volt driver and final. Bi Polar or Mosfet. Some of the export radios have built in linear amplifiers after the driver and final, and that is fine. Just a driver and final, you get 3/4 Watt Dead Key, and 6 Watts PEP with the same scope pattern in the video. If you lower the carrier to say 1/4 Watt, you get 2 Watts PEP with the same 200% and headroom to go beyond that. It is up to the proper use of amplifiers to get back up the level required. Don't let small #'s fool you

I'm gonna give him the benefit of the doubt, and think he means he likes the sound kinda like a bass musician or a guitarist likes when the tube amp is driven to soft clipping. I like that sound too, and it is not clean. But it is not crap either. That is why this version of the Mauldulator has tube emulation. It does a lot to thicken the audio and make it sound warmer and heavy at the same time.
