  • Bullshit, I've thought Raiden was a frigging bad ass since the beginning. I only wish they had more of the music that plays right at the end when Raiden gets the Stinger Missile Launcher and then the camera zooms in on him to start the boss fight.

  • @theR1ch Raiden was JUST like Snake, he just looked different and was very young that's all. Remember MGS and MGS3? And how Snake was in those games? I get that they are different snakes but my point is that they were both clueless during the entirety of the game. Just running around doing errands for the people they work with or work for.

  • @theR1ch Like you though, I'm one of the people who though Raiden was just like Snake. Albiet a bit different, and his history as a child soldier makes him a bit more tragic than Snake but at least he got his happy ending. Snake's ending was a lot more tragic, though. No happy ever after for him.

  • Most underrated Metal Gear villain, and most underrated of the Snakes. And if you think about it, Solidus had the right idea all along. Big Boss ended up being a founder of the Patriots, Solid ended up an unwitting pawn of the Patriots up until the end, and Liquid (along with the rest of the Metal Gear cast) ended up being played like a fiddle by Ocelot the whole time. Only Solidus had a clear vision of what had to be done in order to defeat the Patriots, even if he did ultimately fail.

  • @RaidensONLYfan Cheers to you for being a fellow Raiden fan, now we need to find a third. lol

  • @RaidensONLYfan Also, if Raiden wasn't introduced here, it would be a game with just a professional soldier that's a complete bad ass from the get-go. Having Raiden around helps the player identify more because everything in the Plant chapter is geared to Raiden getting more experience and essentially growing up a little more. It's like playing a game of resident evil or megaman with all weapons unlocked with infinite ammo. Nothing is difficult, and nothing can stand in your way....aka SNORE.

  • @RaidensONLYfan He worked the way he did because he and snake were in a way, complete opposites. Raiden was a new guy that had gone through alot of VR and this was his first big mission, whereas Snake is a grizzled war veteran, he's taken down Liquid and the army of bosses and genome soldiers in MGS 1. He's a tough guy that never loses his composure, and spits in the face of adversity. Raiden is younger, inexperienced (not counting the civil war as a boy) and emotional.

  • worst fucking villain of all time, this game sucks, fuck you kojima, thank god he fixed his mistake in MGS3

  • @havik206 Must be some more nanomachines. LOL

  • "so your the boss around here..?

"No, not just around here..im the boss to surpass big boss himself!"

epic line! Solidus is the man!

  • a bad ass motha fucka
