Booker T and The MG's wrote this song. The great Stax artist William Bell wrote the lyrics. Booker T wrote the riff and he had Steve Cropper play on guitar what he was playing with his left hand on the B3. Albert was newly signed to Stax Records and they needed material for his album. I recommend you guys out there try to find Booker T and The MG's instrumental version of this where Steve Cropper takes a fucking shit-hot solo, or try to find William Bell's version. Fuck Cream's version, Y'all.
