Essentially you can't compare any two guitarist. SRV and Albert King are two different styles and they have two different approaches to playing guitar. People need to stop living in competition.

Do you know anything about the history of these artists, or music for that matter. Jimi took ALOT of influences off other artists. Elvis, Muddy Waters, B.B. King and others. Mouth picking and stage moves for a start were not his own style. Many if not all guitarists are influenced by predecessors. That is what music is all about. I could go on, but if you know about music then i shouldn't need to. I hate when ppl compare diff guitarists, they are all great in their own way.

Priceless. I grew up listening to these blues icons/legends in the South. It wasn't just music to us, it was a way of life and a heartfelt expression of the human soul. I STILL feel it every time I listen to this music. Thanks so, so much for posting so we can keep the music alive!!!!
