Actually what he's referring to is that it's not easy to create wealth in a barren frozen wasteland. Obviously this does not accurately describe iceland but it might as well if you compare iceland to for example the african and middle-eastern regions.

@SunnevaOskHd I have been to Iceland and you do have disgusting bugs. "Summer" mosquitoes from the geezers drove me crazy. One thing I did like a lot is by some freak of nature the girls are the most beautiful I have ever seen, yet the blokes look like goblins. Needless to say I had one hell of a time.
