Hello, happens to me what happened to you, I did not detect easycap.
It has the green light but I did not detect the iMac.
How do you connect and disconnect? I have it connected directly to the usb to the iMac, but I was not detected.

Thanks for watching the video! I really appreciate it.Unfortunately, this was done more than a year ago and my setup has changed drastically.
For tips on cables:
I purchased a S-Video cable. I hooked it up to my easycap's S-Video port then hooked the audio (red/white) cables to a 3.5mm->RCA cable which was connected to my MacBook's LINE-IN port.
That's pretty much it.

Hey Neshyd, I started recording with the easycap and the easycapviewer software. I can get decent picture quality and sound, but are there any extra tips to get a better picture quality?

@serginietor Not that I know of... the only way is to get a better capture card :)
