Thanks for the info...are raked triple trees safe? I've heard that there may be some safe concerns about not holding up well.

in germany you must have a technical checkup for parts which are not original. so there's no rist to mount these parts. the axle is made of stainles steel and the triple tree is made of 40mm thick aluminium. the driving comfort with 5° rake is better, so i think. for some more pic's and information you also can check my homepage.

Awesome bike! Long and low. Are the front fork tubes stock? They look fat and tapered..nice touch. where can I get some fork tubes like that?

this frontend is not original. the tripple tree is from sl-custombike. it's got 5°rake. the tubecovers are selfmade. the wheel is 130/50 R18. the rim 4"x18".
