@ManFraElMalicioso sorry for late reply. When i wrote my original post there was a very cheap deal available on ebay. Im in the U.K and managed to get some end of line off-cuts cheaply. I got about 50 sq ft for £40, the tiles were a 1/2" shorter than standard ones which doesn't bother me. If you buy bulk and try for off-cuts or end of line packages (random sized tiles) its worth it just to save the hassle of making them. Just type in acoustic foam on ebay, you might be surprised.

@bcvmxzbvnbxcmv yeah its not really worth looking at alternatives when you can get cheap foam these days, theres a company on ebay who do 48sq ft of acoustic foam in a kit with 8 bass traps and a can of spray glue for about 60 dollars
