Guam- As the island prepares for the relocation of some 8,000 marines from Okinawa, Japan to Guam, plans to build a separate highway that connects two of Guam's military bases are being put on the back burner. Instead, the money for the project is being used in a more practical way.

Perez adds when the military buildup begins, the bulk of transportation between Big Navy & Anderson Air Force Base will probably be happening after hours. He mentions this is so the island's normal rush hour times won't be greatly affected.
