Class 56 filling up with coal on one of the last workings before Goldthorpe pit closed. Historic footage now and well worth watching...hope you enjoy.

  • Glad it made your day. I haven't been there for a while now, but I belive the area has been developed. A cousin and uncle live on Barnburgh Lane, not seen them for a while either. My mate was the driver of the 56, and he encouraged me to film this...thank God he did.

  • @madmick04 Sorry to take so long to reply, but you are dead right...a bomb up the arse for Mag for destroying our County . I have heard that Hickey box is to come down, what a sad day that will be. So glad I took this film and that you enjoyed watching.

  • now it looks bare now yeah only a few coal mines most in wales and scotland

  • coal sector is my favourite livery, especially if its on a 37, good video though
