really enjoyed this video,having worked at the colliery for a few years, it brought back many happy memories.I also know the driver of the loco, Lewis Jackson,spent many hours trainspotting with him when we were kids.

Glad it made your day. I haven't been there for a while now, but I belive the area has been developed. A cousin and uncle live on Barnburgh Lane, not seen them for a while either. My mate was the driver of the 56, and he encouraged me to film this...thank God he did.

@madmick04 Sorry to take so long to reply, but you are dead right...a bomb up the arse for Mag for destroying our County . I have heard that Hickey box is to come down, what a sad day that will be. So glad I took this film and that you enjoyed watching.
