This is the eight minute version of March of the Penguins. I've condensed the entire film to its eight minute essence. My son begged me to take him to this movie when it first hit the theaters. I told him that I was so tired that I would sleep through it. He insisted. So, I forked over my $20, and sure enough soon I fell fast asleep. When the lights came up, I asked him how it was, and he confessed that he fell asleep too. A couple of years later, beloved Ann and I were visiting Puerto Rico, and what comes on the TV, but, yes, you guessed it! March of the Penguins. Ann informs me that she loves these kinds of movies, and I laughed saying that I doubted that she would stay awake. I was doing work and every so often I looked over and noted that her head was bobbing and her eyelids drooping. Please enjoy the essence of March of the Penguins. In this case, it is NOT narrated by anyone famous. ;-) Also, note that this film clearly is within the "fair use" parameters as it is a non-for-profit parody, "A parody is a work that ridicules another, usually well-known work, by imitating it in a comic way. Judges understand that by its nature, parody demands some taking from the original work being parodied. Unlike other forms of fair use, a fairly extensive use of the original work is permitted in a parody in order to "conjure up" the original."
LOL - Indeed! But it is a wonderful video if you have to babysit younger children.
