Ban The Deed, Not The Breed

This is something I made for the ban on pitbulls in our town. I think you shouldn't blame the dog for it's owner's actions, when, in reality, it's just like any other trained dog. Loyal to it's master, and determined to win it's masters' love in the end. This is horrible. Please, help me save such a wonderfull breed.

Am so sure that pitbull rescues can generate their own electricity by simply putting the dogs

on treadmills that are hooked up to a power generator or something along those lines, am not very educaded but I think is something worth looking into.

@TheRealUnderherfeet, I'm just saying, punish those mentally destructive parents, not the victim the kids; punish the owners and ban the deed, but don't punish the breed by euthanising them, fearing them, destroy them, and banning people from owning and loving them.

I have a pitbull and she wouldn't hurt a person let alone a fly. Pitbulls are bred by some people to be fighting dogs, but they don't have to be. Ingnorant people make pitbills go threw hell for their own pleasure and a way to make money, but I'm guessing you don't know what they do with them when they don't win, they dump them or kill them. That's not how a dog should he treated and this is to all the IDIOTS who think they should he banned when they are really loving dogs!!!!!

when i see pits in cages locked up it makes me wonder. "if i was in that position what would i be thinking?" gangs should be tough shouldnt they?? then if they are why are they bringing ADORABLE dogs to fight?? when that dog could die for a such stupid idea. together we can stop dog fighting and makes the world a better place for pitbulls.

@hatsamb you are misinformed. pit bulls have a tendency to be protective and have a larger then average muscle mass for a dog (typically) and these things have been used against them. if you are a sociopath, these two traits can be used for entertainment or appearance purposes.  They were the number one family dog in the 80's, imagine 20 years from now if they tried to ban Golden Retrievers. Its just as ridiculous.

German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Dobermans, Great Danes, pit bulls, all powerful dogs that have been used intermittently to protect and attack, yet also as therapy dogs and search and rescue and also can be great family pets. It is all up to the owner of the dog to love it, train it properly, socialize it and make it safe around people and animals. Plenty of people, all income levels, own and take good care of their dogs. Punish bad breeders, bad dog owners and animal abusers to help dogs.

@MeanTanni But Pit Bulls are dangerous dogs. And we should not euthanize them, but ban breeding them at all. I do not see how that is cruel. Sure, it isn't the dog's fault. But Pit Bulls have tendencies to be aggressive.

your videos are amazing. i think all pets shoudl be registered to good onwers only and need to be fixed unless you have a breeding licence. then the puppy mills could be shut down and all this useless breeding for money would be stopped and all these great animals would suffer no more abuse. not just pits, but all dogs.!
