I remember when a whoosh of fire singed his hair, was too drunk to notice on that episode, as well as other episodes! Him and his guests used to polish off those bottles pretty quick!
It seems Bruno could never operate a blender properly as seen at 0:23. There was a clip that made one of those 'Outrageous TV Moments' episodes on NBC in 2005 and whatever he had in the blender sprayed all over the place.
RIP BRUNO GERUSSI ..... I grew up on this show and Beachcombers my late moms favorite show. I was too young to remember the plotlines but seeing him is like seeing an old friend. I remember Nick and Jesse and ADORED Relic. When the show was cancelled due to a CBC funding NOT LOW RATINGS!!! Canadian culture lost a true gem. To me CBC after the 70's no longer produced quality primetime shows.
I can name the celebrities, Billy Van, Don Lake, Cleo Laine, Marty Allen, and Arte Johnson. I remember watching this show when I used to live in Canada.

Gotta love the outfit. By the way, too bad they never aired the episode with Bob Crane.

Wow! I remember this. CBC should be putting this show on one of their retro channels. Or the Food Network can find a spot too.
